Today’s Tuesday tune was discovered by a mere photograph of the singer performing on NPR’s tiny desk concerts. I took one look at her picture and had to click the link. A photo can do that sometimes, capture something grand. And this vocalist has grand vocal chords…. have a listen for yourself:

This instrument is called a pipa, she plays it so well. Her name is Wu Man, isn’t that awesome?
I tried to make hummus for the first time ever and failed drastically. Mei tried it “I’m sorry mom, but the store bought hummus is waaaaaay better that your hummus. In fact your hummus is actually bad, will you try to fix it next time?”
I will! but meanwhile I’ll be making this instead. Also, did I mess up your stereotypes yet?
When I first spotted this coat, I thought it was a kid’s garment and wanted it for my girls. I realize now that it’s intended for a full grown person. Now I would like it for me please.
